The COVID-19 IntraCounty Geo Mobility intelligence provides intra-county estimates of how mobility behaviors are changing by demographic group. This intelligence measures the change in travel behavior for a county’s residents by providing a decile distribution of the number of visited census tracts within the county. Travel behaviors for residents within a county by demographic group show how mobility changes by age group daily to inform detailed strategies for retail, CPG, and advertising, as well as investment models and predictions. This segment and local level data, at a daily frequency, is critical for understanding how consumers are changing behaviors in response to news and policies, especially as macro-trends are in flux. As a result, population mobility trends will become even more critical as an early indicator of purchase patterns and economic activity.
This data can also support health, policy, and economic researchers in how mobility behavior is changing at a granular level in response to COVID-19 infection rates and policies such as Stay-At-Home.
For the avoidance of doubt, this dataset does not include user level data.
