The COVID-19 InterCounty Geo Mobility trial intelligence dataset shows all the visited counties (by FIPS code) by a population residing in a home county. This dataset aids in understanding travel behavior across US counties. Travel behaviors can inform strategies for retail, CPG, and advertising, as well as investment models and predictions by showing how consumers are changing behaviors and in response to news and policies. As a result, population mobility trends can serve as an early indicator of purchase patterns and economic activity.
This intelligence could also support epidemiology research for COVID-19 (i.e., SIR models) as well as economic impacts from reduce mobility.
For the avoidance of doubt, this dataset does not include user level data.
