This TRIAL DATASET includes the projected count of users commuting through specific Routes in the US – South region for a single day. Routes are represented using OpenStreetMap’s Way IDs. High-density user mobility data is sourced from mobile carriers (600 location pings per day) and mobile apps (location ping every 10 mins). Mobility data is further clustered across space and time to identify likely periods and points of continuous dwell. The clustered locations are layered on OpenStreetMaps to infer likely travel paths and transportation modality between clusters. This intelligence provides deep travel and transit related insights – origins, destinations, path taken, distance traveled, time taken, at a macro and micro level in the US – South region. TruFactor derives the projected counts from observed counts that have been filtered for exclusion and anonymized to ensure users can not be re-identified. Values are extrapolated from US Census data using our proprietary algorithm. For the avoidance of doubt, this dataset does not include user level data.
